AP Poetry Assignment

The poems below are all hyperlinked. You need to read all of them (there are 13 of them). THEN, pick one of them and complete the TP-CASTT on that one. Here's the catch...... each poem can only be used once in each section until we run out of them, then it's open to be selected again. Write a comment ON THIS POST, reserving your poem. If there is a comment on the blog from someone else in your section, you cannot pick it until all 13 have been chosen, then it opens up again. In other words:

Section 1-- If Valeria has already selected "Ozymandias" in the comments and Sammie Kate is DYING to do her TP-CASTT on it (and you all should be because it's AWESOME!), Sammie Kate can either snag another one that hasn't been picked OR wait until all 13 are taken and then quickly get it (two pieces of poetry will be taken twice in the first AP group because there are fifteen of you).

Section 2-- If Kendrew is a sucker for depressing poetry and he wants to do his TP-CASTT on "Those Winter Sundays" but Ashton LOVED it and wants to do hers for it, she can pick Matthew Arnold's AWESOME "Dover Beach" instead (which is what I would do) OR she can wait until all 13 are taken and then sign up for "Those Winter Sundays" alongside Kendrew (four pieces of poetry will be taken twice in the second AP group because there are 17 of you).

Make sense?

So read through them all and then comment on this post, telling me and your classmates which one you are taking for TP-CASTT. That's due tomorrow, and it's just notes for each point, not an essay. Not yet. ;)

    1. Someone in your section already has this one and they aren't all taken yet, so this won't work.
