Wife of Bath
We had a great discussion regarding the Wife of Bath's Tale. Do you think the Wife of Bath is meant to contradict the misogynist (woman-hating) ideas of her time, or to uphold them? How might her story be a type of wish-fulfillment for the aging? Respond to any other elements from this tale (or any others we read during this unit).

Welcome to Your SENIOR YEAR!!!!
This is it, people! Your last "first day" is now over. Like I told you in class, I can assure you that the next ten months will pass faster than you can blink. We will look up and realize that it's time to don those caps and gowns and walk down that track. Kind of makes me sad thinking about it, to be honest! :) I am really excited about this year, as I told you today. I love what I do and I believe in this curriculum, so I am anxious to see in what ways you all are going to blow me away. This week we will finish going over procedural-type stuff and next week we will get to Unit 1. Please remember to keep communication open between us, ok? Have a great weekend!
